blaupunkt cd player

I have got a 8v active 1.2 fiat punto (53 reg) and have recently bought a blaupunkt cd player to replace my tape player, i have plugged all the wires into the back of the cd player but it does not work, but the tape player does. does anyone have any ideas of how to fix the problem? do i have to change around some of the wiring?

I have bought this cd player second hand but it did state on the advert that it was in full working order. i thought i may need to change some wires around or something like that?

Is it OEM or aftermarket.

I believe its after market

Unplug the red wire from its bullet connector and plug it into the spare yellow one then.
