blaupunkt a09 idc wont play?

hi all, i know this has been explained b4 but really dont understand! I got a changer from a stilo at a scrap yard, connected to cn+ head unit, all seems to be fine takes discs scrolls thru tracks when i press play it does nothing just shows play icon any ideas,
