Blast from the past guys…

Some of the longer serving members might remember MYHLX and my car well it is now under new ownership and I will be pointing the lucky female in this direction at some point…

I have loved every second of Bravo ownership (all 4 years & 4 months of it) and will NEVER let anyone slate Fiat's! I shed a tear as she left my driveway…

Im afraid I have moved over to the dark side of d-d-d-diesel and German!

2002 BMW 530d Auto Sport in Slate Green with Stone Green leather. 18's, SatNav/TV, Comms pack, sports seats, full m-tec everything… Power, economy, quality, presence and great looks. It is THAT good.

I`d take it back mate, someones pinched one of your pedals. LOL

Those cars look like they just left the showroom. And that beemer looks fantastic. They're really good cars, beemers. The only thing I don't like about them are their tight accelerator pedals. But I guess you get used to it in time.

Nice one, mate ;)

Cheers for the kind words Tommy/guys.

The accelerator is 'lighter' and smoother than the Bravo one-it also travels a LOT further!

The missing pedal is bliss when stuck on the M25 for over an hour in traffic! If im feeling sporty I can always use the Steptronic function which gets rid of the slight lag when using kick-down. I was dubious about autos, but they are harder to thrash than a manual (no riding/slipping the clutch) and it really is a great design. Its frugal around town and has means of telling when you are throwing it around bends-so when you lift off it doesnt change up. Remap to 230+ bhp and 550nm torque in the Spring me thinks!

Im still getting used to the back wheels spinning over white lines on junctions though-and thats just in 'D' with less than 1/2 throttle!

Enjoy your cars, remember to leave the handbrakes off around this time of year though!

Ben.

Cheers for the Handbrake reminder :)

Auto's are great, esp when setting off from traffic lights!

Boy racers don't understand how such big cars can shift so quickly!!.... the answer is simple.. IT HAS A BIG ENGINE!!!! :) :)

Now you take care on those icey roads... don't wanna get passed by ur own arse!!!! :):)
