Technical black smoke accelerating

hi guys hellp my BRAVA1.9Td 1998 is producing a bit of smoke under acceleration through the gears . ive recntly fitted a k+n flat panel filter and done the usual service jobs . any suggestions what to try next cheerie RuDoneIn thanks

its overfueling. usually due to a sensor problem. if there are no fault lights illuminated on the dash, and you havent noticed any loss of fuel economy, i wouldnt worry about it. the marea section is probably a better place to direct diesel reated questions as there's not many diesel owners on here, and the marea had the same engine
