Ok.. one for the "oldies"
many years ago you could buy "Black Laquer",,, usually in tins from Woolworths or such....
It had a lovely smell and would settle to a really nice smooth finish if there were any raised manufacturer names or such then the paint would tend to be much thinner on these letters often given a sort of gold apperance (probably due to base binder of the paint and the pigment setteling)
So is this still available or is there an equvalent that gives teh same effect....
Spray celly Hamerite and Acrylic don't give that effect....
