Styling Black headlights / headlamps

Want some black headights for my GPS, however not prepared to pay the £100's for the abarth ones etc. Was wondering if it was possible to get inside the original headlights and paint the non reflective parts of the headlights black etc?

Is this possbile??? Any other ideas???

I think this has come up before, try the search function. The headlights are sealed anyway, the only opening is for changing the bulbs.

can take them apart look people do with mk2's but you will be the first.

it is possible to open up the originals and spray them black. someone on here has done it i just cant remember who
you have to drill the rivets out to take them apart. then rivet them back together after spraying.

You dremel them open then spray them and reseal them.

it is do-able, but can be a ballache if you not very good with the sealant as the lights will get condensation in them

I got the best idea ever! Im suprised at you all for not thinking of this simple solution!... Ask Carl! Im sure he would be happy to paint your head lights, after all he has done a fantastic job of the badges! lol

dont want any angel eye ones as im not a fan of them, cant seem to find any abarth copies any where either, so if you do just let me know lol

They make them but they refuse to make them in RHD fitment. Plenty of people off here contacted them to ask if they would do it. First they said yes but they needed 10 people minimum then they changed there minds and said they wouldnt do it.

reading merkurs site in the early hours of this morning it looks like they might be doing/have done rhd lights but its not clear. at a list price of €429.99 ie not much cheaper than abarth head lights
