It's not kph it's mph!

At the start of the vid, you can make out the inner ring of the speedo, thats the kph (reads upto 320kph)

Fake in what way?

Hayabusas are fast.

From website http://www.hyp4r.com/hayabusa/performance.htm

These figures are as tested by various publications over the years.
Of course everyone knows the Suzuki claims 300kph plus or 200mph.
400m takes 10ish seconds
(All tests I've read are between 9.4 and 10.4 seconds)
Speed at 400m 235kph
(All test I've read are between 232 and 238km)
0-100 takes 3 seconds
(All tests I've read hover between 3 and 3.5 seconds)
Top speed : at least 300kph
(All test I've read hover between 291 and 317kph in varying conditions)

60 - 120km Hayabusa 4.9 secs
60 - 120km Blackbird 6.1 secs
60 - 120km GSX-R 6.8 secs
60 - 120km ZZ-R1100 7.2 secs
(Australian Performance Streetbike magazine)
(Buy the mag and read the article, its one of the better ones.)
0-200kph takes about 7.6 secs

Claimed power :
175bhp at 9800 rpm at the crank - 1999 stock version no mods.

Tests average :
157bhp at back wheel - 1999 stock version no mods.
There are now heaps of performance enhancements which show that with appropriate mods 200 reliable bhp is although expensive relatively easy to achieve.

Top Speed :
Claimed top speed is at least 200 MPH or about 321KPH for 1999 models.
Top speed is at least 189 MPH for late 2000 and 2001 models onwards.
Top Speed as measured by the Guiness Book of Records 2000 & 2004 edition is 317KPH

The Hayabusa has double the BHP and torque compared to the CBR600.
The CBR600 needs to rev to 10,000 rpm to generate the same power as the Hayabusa at 5,500 RPM
The Hayabusa produces 20-25bhp more than the R1 at any given speed

and u can bolt on a turbo for good measures u should see this vid i have its **** hot

doesn't look real, when he slows down to 100 mph, the scenery is moving so slowly its not 100 at all, and he brakes from 220+ to 100 in a few seconds I don't think so.

if you have ever been to santa pod and seen them up the 1/4 mile you'll know they can quite easily be that quick
last time i was there there was 3 running low 9secs at 140mph- 160mph end speed and those things can stop just as quick as they start. awesome pieces of machinery

My mate sent me it a few months back. Apparently its been edited i.e the speedo.

Yes they are fast tho! Huge bike

I have a vid of a honda blackbird on a public road on my home pc.

That goes up to somewhere approaching 180mph. Thats not edited at all. You can see the cars whizzing past (in reverse it looks like).

Is it possible to upload to this site or do you have to have the vid hosted somewhere and link to it?

Also motorcycle brakes and tyres are better than most cars these days. What you have to remember is that a litre bike gives you the performance of a £400,000 car for less than a new mini. With home servicing and relatively cheap insurance. I was quoted £860 for a 1.8 bravo and £750 for a yamaha R1?????

From http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?f=57&t=95834

Caterham's R500 Evolution took the crown at Autocar's recent 0-100-0 test.

The competition which took place at Bruntingthorpe Proving Ground in Leicestershire saw the Caterham sprint to 100mph and then brake to a halt in just 10.73 seconds. This beat last year's best time set by the road going GT car, the Mosler MT900S.

Autocar's timing shows that the R500 reached 30mph in 1.45 seconds, 60mph in 3.21 seconds and 100mph in 6.92 seconds. Stopping from 100mph took just 3.6 seconds!

Almost as impressive was the sizeable Ferrari Enzo. It may cost £425,000 compared to the £42,000 for the Caterham, but the full sized supercar achieved 0-100-0 in just 10.98 seconds.

For comparison, a Suzuki GSX-R also took part, reaching 100mph in 5.03 seconds but braking to a halt extended the time to 10.89.

If you're looking for somewhere to host it,

try rapidshare.de

its time limited to 30days or something i think.
