General Birkholz windows

Just a heads up regarding not just Birkholz windows but any of the older campers windows.

Last week we started out for our weekend away, driving no more than 90kph when suddenly we heard an almighty bang, and on further looking, our upper front window had delaminated leaving only the thin inner window in place.

Knowing Birkholz went out of business long back, decided to replace it with 6mm polycarbonate, just need to finish edging off then good to go. I also decided to replace all other windows with new ones on their way from Italy.

So for those with older vans, do check your windows.

There was a UK company who made replicas of the "2-skin" Windows often found in trailer caravans, and OLD Ducatos

They traded as "ExhaustEjectorCo"
