Just bought fiat stilo claws off ebay and they measur 215/45 zr 17 87w will they go on my bravo or will i have to modify the arches or am i ****ed cheers ps the car is not lowered

I bought some claws off ebay, but tyre less.
Asked the same question on this forum & the concensus was that 215 x 45's will rub, plus speedo will be well out.
I'm def going to get 205 x 40's, unless I read otherwise!!

is there no way around it or will i have to buy new tyres if so do you know of any cheap ones cheers m8

you should be able to put them on they'll just rub , depends on whethe you can put up with it

Why don't you see if the ebay dealer will supply 205 x 40 tyres instead.

it's only an extra 10mm of tread rubbing shouldn't be an issue, but as stated your speedo will be out, check here http://www.bravo-guide.co.uk/tyres.htm
changing from the 195/55/15 supplied on the hgt to 205/40/17 is as near as dammit the same radius, going up to 215 is 5% larger so your speedo is always out by 5% in the speed cameras favour, 70 on your speedo is really 73.5 (if your speedo is acuate to start with)
