Sumer bring it on. The Ace cafe will be great in the evenings.
Ok, thanks for answears.
I think I would go with that b gsr kit in future if possible. If I can get any to Finland
But what about these greenwister things and similars? are they crap or..?
btw, I asked about that bigger BMC carbon kit from one finnish supplier and he said that its for over 160hp motors, and price was nice 299e...
Not sure about the green twister kits but if you want something shipping to Finland from the UK I am happy to do it for you if you wire me the money for shipping...........
The standard Green filter kit is good, its easy to fit and not too expensive - you would also love the sound!!
Yep, there it was.. thanks..Difficult to say for sure but looks to me like you have the external Air Flow Meter model. Is there a metal unit that looks like this on the end of the plastic tube that bends down the front of the engine? If so its got the external air flow meter........
NP, let us know what you go for.........
This offer I got is ~240EUR, ~179GBP..LittleRedB; said:Good news, just as a matter of interest how much are they in Finland? Cost about £150-£180ish in the UK
Beware, you can't fit it like that (as shown on the BMC web site) if you've got the mass air sensor in it's own section of metal pipe.
You have to point it downwards and then have a pipe leading to the front to scoop up the nice cold air
That's a breather pipe which takes the slightly dirty air from the engine and recycles it to be burnt again. I've disconnected mine and will fit a catch tank. Docs already done it.
The CDA won't fit the way you describe as it's too long with the mass air sensor on the models like yours and mine.
I'll get some pictures when it gets light and I can find my camera but I think the Doc's already posted one a few posts back.
LittleRedB; said:..or to get along to a SAMCO dealer and buy short sections of Silicone induction hose to create a bespoke fitting.
I am sure it's do-able but will require a bit of patience and quite a bit of new induction pipe......... .
Not sure about the kit, could be worth it. You can do it without if you want. I'll try and get some pics as soon as I can find my flippin' camera!
I think you should install a catch tank if you remove the breather pipe, I believe that's a law in most of the EU.
LittleRedB; said:You should fit a catch tank for the oil breather, its law if your local MOT station is diligent
Is there any news about that GSR kit?LittleRedB; said:..at the moment am happy to work with GSR to mod a kit specifically for the b..
