How do you find out how much BHP your vehicle has? I have a Series 9, first registered March 2024.

Do you know engine output in kW? If so, divide by 0.746 to convert. If engine power output not known, try internet search with engine series number from VIN plate

The VIN plate should show the engine type against "Motore-Engine".

In most circumstances this should be sufficient to identify the power output but, according to my manual the same code is used for the 120 and some versions of the 140 for the series 9 2.2.

If you check the code against the manual (or if struggling post the value here) you should be able to determine.

Thanks. I don't know the kW. Internet search is undecided, could be either of 140/160/180, depending on website. I rang Fiat Australia. They tell me it's 180HP. Guess I have to take their word.

Thanks for the info.
"Motore" is '46348913', which according to the manual is '2.2 160/180HP H-3 Power with AdBlue'.
To confuse matters "Versione" is '250EVBFC BELT2', which the manual tells me is '2.2 103kW 140 HP'.
I contacted Fiat Australia. They tell me it's 180HP.
For this to be so, the V in the "Versione" should be an S, T, Y or Z. These are the 4 letters that indicate 180HP.

Also, what is BELT2 at the end of the versione?

Whilst the conflict is quite confusing, you're not the only one with the same values:

(No consolation, I know)
