beware of buying new fiat!!!

in 30 yrs of having cars do you think i would have learned what to clean car wheels with?????
i have an old man who is a top notch sprayer so please dont insult my intelligents cheers

i dont know you life history so how is it insulting your intelligences and how are we supposed to know you clean your sons wheels for him

for all i know you could have taking it to a hand car wash place where they use some right harsh stuff

According to the pics theres no doubt the centres are different colour but when you magnify the pics as far as they will go especially the first one it looks as though it has been lashed with one of them fierce car wash brushes. It looks like youre not far off needin new discs.

I've had issues with my Abarth 500, but no matter what has happened Abarth/Fiat have been great at fixing the issues and actually gave me an Abarth Monza exhaust system worth £900 for free. Do what I do and don't bother with the dealers, go straight to the Fiat MD!!! ;)

how do i get hold of fiat md as fiat custmor relations has been a dead end.would be helpfull to me to do that thanks.

and yes i have been washing the wheels as they should have been taken care of, maybe some of you missed the bit were i said fiat head office has sent memo which i have out to all dealers out linning what they will do when these faulty wheels come in. the heading to this document says"manufactors defect fiat bravo wheels"

so all those that think i am a whinning idot and all the other insults then that is there opinion and the only reason this thread was put up was to inform other members of a fault with these wheels obviously and mistake on my part and it wont happen again as i am now leaving the forum as i no longer wish to be slaged off here

so long and thanks for all the fish.

Absolutely non of my business & I'm only making observations here;) It would appear there were both good & bad aspects on both sides here. Spelling on both sides at times was not correct.(n)

I've mentioned before that I visit now & again, just to keep up with events, both car related & the sense of humour:D At times life takes you on the route you dont expect, looks like some become lost here eh?:D

If it was caused by being poorly maintained Fiat would have told them to do one, the fact that they are honouring their obligation shows that they have accepted that it is something out of the customers control. .
Not necessarily. It is possible that they do think it is down to poor maintenance but that would be really hard to prove and so opted for the good will route of offering a refurb. If the OP wasn't happy with the way the refurb went then surely the problem is now between him and the refurb company? And also highlight the problem with Fiat so they know not to use that company again?

A whinning idot?

And BTW, "the only reason this thread was put up was to inform other members of a fault with these wheels ", so why the scaremonger title "beware of buying a new fiat" ?
Surely something along the lines "alloy wheels problem" would have been the way to go?

Disagree on both points. It would have been necessary for the op to prove to Fiat that it was a warranty issue not the other way around. Fiat/goodwill/rare.

If Fiat approved the refurb company then it's down to Fiat to sort as they paid the invoice I assume.

Agree with overly dramatic thread title though.
