Out of all the SUV's out there ranging from a cheap Vauxhall Frontera to a Luxury Overfinch Vouge. WHAT is the best SUV out there?

1) any NOT used for the school run and shopping

2) a Toyota Landcruiser

Land Cruisers are pretty good, reliable, strong. My choice would definitely be the Nissan Patrol though. I had one and absolutely loved it, never wanted to part with it. It was a 4.5L petrol and it could go places off road that 5.6L petrols couldn't..

doesn't look very practical. wheels too big, tyres too small, interior will be a nightmare to clean.
