I use Castrol's GTX Magnatec 'for modern cars' never had a problem with this.
Its supposed to protect your engine more on start-up than any other oil, wether it does this or not is another thing!

15w 40 is the one for ours. Personally I'd reccommend spending 2 quid more on a genuine Fiat oil filter too.

I also use Castrol GTX Magnatec. The performance is good and she runs so quiet it's unbelievable! And that's an eleven year-old 903cc with 75K ;) It's 15W 40 I use as well.

In case anyone's interested, there's oil information at: http://www.chris-longhurst.com/carbibles/engineoil_bible.html which explains
face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica" id="quote">quote:
all that gubbins

;)

All oil filters are the same inside its just the outside packing/colours that is different, apart from the 'race spec' filters

Some have non return valves inside to prevent the oil draining back when you've stopped.
