I got 61.5 mpg from my 25 mile journey to work!!

I'm seeing what I can get from a full tank, driving as economical as I can. Currently I am on 55.

That's ridiculous on just over a quarter tank!! If i drove more than 3 miles a day to work (i bike while its sunny!) id trade my tjet in for an mjet but not worth doing at the moment

It was half a tank I topped it bk up that quarter to go bk up to daventry a day later im still on that tank now its on 1/4 left done 462 miles n its still currenty averaging 58.3mpg

I can't get anything like that in our delta (same engine just slightly longer than bravo on same platform) lucky to get above mid 40s most of the time might get up to 50 on a long run but that's about it. I did a brim to brim test once which showed the computer to be slightly pessimistic but still I can't get those sort of figures

I have now done 380 miles from the tank and I have an average of 54.2, surely this is excellent?

Long runs from up here in Scotland down to England with my 165 get me about 56mpg which equates to about 50mpg when you work it out by brimming the tank.

Day to day it says 48-50mpg and this works out at about 45mpg.

Considering its a reasonably powerful car and the twisty back roads in my are I am happy with that.

Funny how the trip comp varies from car to car

Jesus, I have a 150 mj and from full to the last quarter (I rarely go lower or anywhere near empty) I get about 480.
295 from quarter of a tank? That's nuts!

Sorry but there's no way that's a true reflection of fuel used.

295 miles on 1/4 of a tank (roughly a 57 litre tank) is over 90mpg.

Mines real and not reset before a trip. 47.5mpg average over 10,000 miles.

If u read my other post I used half tank on 295 miles to average that

I topped up the quarter with the share of money I got from a friend to cover there part the fuel bill

So is was roughly half tank to do the 67mpg over 295 miles
