Hi folks

I have a 1999 14D (no i) MWB minibus that gets fairly light use, perhaps 4,000 miles per year of steady driving. (Sounds like I'm trying to sell it!)
It is at 85,000 miles and runs well, the exhaust being invisible in the mirror except when accelerating hard in cold weather. (It just passed the MOT with smoke level of 0.82 1/m, pass limit is 1.5.) I'm normally able to let it warm up for a few minutes in cold weather.
It is about 7,000 miles since the it had a full professional service (nearly 2 years ago), so I assume the oil needs changing?
Should I get a 15/40 semi-synthetic or would you recommend something else for my baby?

btw The eper site is not working.

Thanks in advance :)
Chris

personally I would suggest a 10-40 semi changed annually with a filter change every second year ...it isn't just mileage that ' ages' the oil
if you want to change the oil every 2 years use a synthetic ...it ' ages' more slowly

I would suggest top quality ...as an audi fan I swear by fuchs which is what audi supply as their own brand [ fuchs own silkolene as well ] ..opie oils in redruth are a good source as they supply all the filters as well at sensible prices
