General Best Colour?

Lmao Cap C!

Blue is cool ;)
Red is angry
Orange is fruity :bang:
Black looks dirty quickly:cry:
White is.... white
Thank god there is no Silver GP (n)
Green...... BRG would be great but that awful kinda yukkie green...:yuck:

Cars and colours? To me the popular and desirable colours are the ones you see the most of. If JCB-yellow, jaffa-orange and twyfords-white were so desirable you would see more cars that clour on the road.....or am I thnking to hard.
When the car does end up on the secondhand market rare colours lower the value and make it difficult to sell, unless of course its on some exotica. Say in 3 years time you wanted a used GP, you had the choice of New orleans blue or twyfords-white, what would most people go for??? You may go for the white because you think you are getting something special but the other 99% who dont give a sh** will go for the blue because its a far more appealing colour. Then the white becomes more difficult to sell and its value drops.

I couldn't disagree any more with anything you have just said -

Popular colours are only popular because they are 'safe' colours and often cost less or people don't dare to go with anything else.

"rare colours lower the value and make it difficult to sell" - look how much broom yellow punto mk2s are fetching compared to the rest.

"People who don't give a **** will go with the blue" If you don't give a **** about the colour how can you possibly argue a point like this?

The white value will not drop as much as others because of it's rarity.

Common colours mean at second hand retail they will be a common car in comparison, common colours will be cheaper because there are more to choose from in their market which isn't opinion it is simple fact.

Not trying to start any arguments just stating a few things, why don't we all have silver like every other car on the road just because it's 'popular'....

I bought a black one, just the same as The Motors, wish I had bought red now, black is a pain in th aris to keep clean and red is perfect for anything Italian

Doncha just lurve the way the colour of a car gets things going?

Lol Cap C!!!!

I am in denial cos I deny that.... the colour to have is the colour preferred by the buyer...

End Of! :D

Agreed!, make your own mind up, can people not make their own decisions anymore.

Pretty conclusive an irrefutable that.

Personally I always relate white to cheap... dont know why... maybe because I had a white escort diesel van 15 years ago and that was pants... then a white Transit which in itself was good for a van, but hell to keep looking fresh! (n)

If white cars are your thing fine by moi, I like colour in my life.

But New Orleans Blue is numero uno pour moi Cap C! :D :D

as a white car owner, the only way I justify it to myself is I wanted one and I think it looks fantastic, however obviously people disagree if its not their thing, likewise im not a fan of black or grey, its up to the buyer!! what speaks to you!!!!???

they always use the colour on adverts that they think looks best

I think the only exterior things that will change is the front grille where the badge is ,they will do it like the bravo and the GP Abarth with the badge slightly bigger cutting into the top and bottom lip.maybe new headlights, not the shape but the configuration inside and maybe the rear light cluster could get a revamp.thats my guess.

i hope the facelift if there is one, isn't a big one, i don't think it should be cause it looks fantastic the way it is, how they could improve on that i really don't know. lol, i think i'm going to get the red one with the added extras of leather and subwoofer, not sure on the sunroof yet, no need if you have A/C.
