Just got my hands on a set of Punto GT calipers, and stripped them down today. The front calipers are from a GT3, and it clearly states 'Bendix' on the casing. Whilst stripping, I noticed that the threads on the guide pin (slider pin) are slightly damaged (probably wouldn't bother most people, but bothers me). Any idea where I get a replacement guide pin for these calipers? Not a clue where to start looking to be fair, the Fiat dealer perhaps?

Cheers,

Mike

Cheers richie. I called Fiat this morning, and without a chassis number, it's a gamble with £10 stakes and 50:50 odds.

To be honest though, the car was a GT3 yet the calipers clearly say 'Bendix' on the casing, which is a GT1 caliper. The listing on the Fiat database would probably be wrong anyway, so I may just take the gamble and order both. I might get lucky and the part numbers may be something like BEN***** or LUC*****, so I will know which one it is.

All the GT3 calipers I've had have been bendix.

Maybe the Punto Sports Club guide is wrong then. These calipers I have are Lucas at the rear, Bendix at the front and definitely from a GT3. I think I shall go into Fiat with the caliper and slider pin, leaning over the desk to see the screen and spot the right part. I'm only out £10 even if I get it wrong.
