i even had/get that and i have 7+ years NCD,clean licence and over 30!

Got 10yrs + NCD and got it protected. If any of you do build up a decent wedge of NCD GET IT PROTECTED ASAP!!! Coz if you dont and have a bump you can loose a lot of those years of NCD very fast. Protected NCD usually available from 4 years...

Can't afford insurance in my own name so I'm a named driver on my mum's policy, she has 8 years NCB protected. She then gets introductory deals on her Stilo; £180 p.a. with 0 NCB!

The renewal for the yellow one, due April, is £390; for a 20yr old I don't think that's bad (for a 1.8 beast ), although I am of course not building my own NCB (although I've heard rumours that companies are starting to introduce this now )

Luke is that with or without a 1242?? I suppose FC is the killer, and btw CIS do touch mods but theyre very expensive! mine will be £868 with HIC, TPFT, 1242d big brakes, ice etc etc etc. 19, no NCB..

Without the 1242 Its mainly 'cos of the location i live in and around / milage on said trouble roads that keeps premiums high. Though if i went third party t&t, would only cost me £400 mods included. May see if i can downgrade to TPF&T and see what i can have toy wise in return for same policy amount
