hi , i have got a multipla 100 16v elx can anyone help , the bottom adjuster bolt which is on the idler wheel adjuster for the compressor belt is so tight i cant budge it ? it looks like someone before me has had a go and rounded the allen bolt off a bit , do,s anyone know what the size of this bolt is ( thread and pitch ) as i think i will have to replace this once i get it out , do,s anyone know how long it is ? any help or info appreciated gaz

Belt adjustment bolt ???

Can't tell from that picture, but it could be a 'Star' or 'Ribe' headed bolt, and not an Allen one.
If that's the case, it may be that someone has tried an Allen key in it and damaged it, if that's the case, then getting the correct bit for it may do the trick.

Try having a look on eper. I can't make out where your photo is looking from and I'm not familiar with the 1.6 motor, but go to:

Spare parts > Multipla > Multipla(1998-...) > 101 Main Components Engine > 10115 Various Controls (Belts and Pulleys).

There are several pages there to choose from. You should be able to work it out from there. If it's the bolt I think it is, it looks as though it's an M10x35, but in the drawings it looks like a normal hex head with a washer.
