General Beep Beep Beep - Please Help Disable

I detest Fiat.

Now I've had enough of the Beeps. It's driving me insane.

Turn on:
Beep Beep Beep - Pre-heat Fault
<short delay>
Beep Beep Beep - Left Anti-Pinch Sensor Failure


Heavy Acceleration (JTD)
Beep Beep Beep - Engine Fault
(perfect during overtaking)


I saw in the menu that you can turn Button Press volume down to 0, however Buzzer only goes to 1 - Smart Italians.

Please help me disable the buzzer. I don't even mind, as a last resort, ripping the bastard buzzer out, if someone can tell me where it is!

the buzzer is inside the instrument cluster, there is a small hole in it which you could cover with tape or you could desolder it from the circuit board (but it is there for a reason !!)

It's reason, as far as the antipinch sensor goes, is that the Stilo wants to join in with the music I'm playing. Every time there's a drum beat, "beep beep beep".

Why bother? In true FIAT fashiong I'd be only fixing it again tomorrow. I just don't want to be reminded for the pleasure.

It shouldn't need me to sell the car to get rid of the beep.

no...it means you have 2 faults!

1) you have no safety measure on the electric window
2) you have a running problem that needs attended too.

Then get it fixed and stop ya winging - next you'll be asking how to remove the annoying red bulb behind the oil can symbol!!

Getting the faults fixed now will be cheaper than later when even more damage has been caused.

It is on examiner, displayed as a voltage.

This forum genuinely sucks. But I guess that's because we all bought Fiats in the first place. There's not going to be any technical advice around if its full of idiots who bought them. Myself included (Shamefully).

Next you'll advise me to go to a dealer!

Edit:- Why on earth would anybody help you when you come onto a forum asking for help and get the arse when people advise you of what you should do. If you do not fix the problems then you car could be dangerous hopefully it is just you that gets injured but you could hurt/kill innocent people at the same time.
