If it's more than £500 then I'm out.
I don't do overalls, that's what the RAC man is for.
Me personally for a car with 12 months MOT and may be 3-6 months tax, i would pay up to £650.

Remember an MOT is not a service. If you are not of a mechanical mind, then budget for a service.
If this is a jeyoueyen trade sale from the garage, you'll be looking closer to £250.
Any more than that and they are taking the wee.

I haven't really got a budget. I'm thinking about getting a little run around to give my 156 a rest and was offered the Seicento 'cheap'... not cheap enough though IMO.
Thats retail money.
