yeah i understand this, im just trying to pro-long the period that they are special for.
And ive read a few threads where people are acting like they were the first people to do it and didnt need any help from anyone to do it.
Fact is nobody would know how to do it, if it wasnt for me, and bedworth trying to claim that him putting 156 seats in his car is being "different" makes me lol

Im not quite sure that you were the very first person in the whole world to do it, maybe original to you but thats all.
If you do think someone has copied what you have done, you should be chuffed that other people like it as much as you do? Rather than acting like a kid when someone else has the same toy?
Im pretty sure i was at the very least the first person in the country, i cant vouch for the rest of the world.

wasn't elfy the 1st? and tbh i had to do a hell of a lot of seaching for the coilovers because i brought mine before they were mass produced. and tbh i never went to take credit off nobody tbh, im just trying to find a solution then having to try and find £600 i need to save for other purposes and tbh i can see them only being short time because you should know how much i change things, nothing really stays the smae with me for very long
Would be nice if there was some way to find out though!
problem is people always lie about stuff taking credit away from the creators in that sort of situation when it comes to world first!

Elfy has a custom retrim not alfa seats. And sorry matt but you are talking sh*t about the coilovers. They had been around for ages before you had them so you shouldnt of had any problem finding them.
tbh i agree cuz ive changed my bumper the other people and already had e-mails asking weather can "copy" and tbh i expect it, if u like it then sometimes ur gona want it
ow rite fair enuf apologies, and i had to have mine on special order off spax, i think gaz coilovers were the only ones when i was looking, it took me 3 months to find and order my set

When did you buy them? Coilovers for mk2s have been widely available for mk2 from 05/06.

tbh i dont know wat martins punto looks like from the front i just know the colour and was one of the 1st the euro a punto so if i copied him im sorry, just thought it would look good and id never seen it. And has martin got the teeth like i have??

Does anyone else feel like they really should not care, because at the end of the day, Bedworth has an incredible looking machine and thats that i suppose,
this reminds me of those 'scoobie' things when i was a few years younger, just silly little things that you could pretty much platt, people were like =O then everyone around my age went mad for them, then they died a death and people moved on, it seems as if Atticus is just a little heeved that he isnt getting all the attention no more for the seats as they are becoming more common, and a less 'common' change!!!

eaxctly, tbh its near on impossible to get a unique part for a car now adays cuz there is always someone else out there that will like it

ALSO my own comment made me think, sorry but i dont know the guys name, but somone on here who i beleive owns a GP made his badge white, ok, completely different and unique as it was a DIY jobby, he IS NOT claiming to be the 1st person to ever do it, because unless proven that is a dumb remark to make, BUT the point is, this was unique to his car, and now people are asking him to make them for them, and he does not have a problem with this aslong as they pay for the work, soooo point im trying to make is if he can physicly make something different, and still not mind other people taking his ideas, why is it such a problem for you? i mean is it an attention thing or what? i know yeah ok, seats and badges to completely different thinks, but you get the idea rite

ok i may have same bumper stye as martins, but im not sure if anyone else has smoothed skirts
Mines not brown dude its copper grease.
And keith has alfa romeo wheels.
And doug has smoothed skirts.
