I thought that my Italian woman needed some cosmetic surgery, she had some minor skin blemishes and was showing signs of her age, I took her kicking and screaming into the Body Shop, she soon settled down.
Here are some pics, I will post the finished result when I collect her next week,
Botox is amazing!! ;)

Ooh, shiny!!

Looking great.

Matter of interest - how much is the respray setting you back? Mine's a bit frayed around the edges, and I'd like to treat her to some rejuvenating cosmetic surgery!

I could probably have got her done a lot lot cheaper, but I wanted a quality job done one her and I am going to pay upwards of a £1000, final price has not yet been agreed as I keep moving the goal post!! but the car before the paint job was and is in a really good condition, the interior is perfect the engine is sweet and I figured that any money spent on her would benefit her value anyway.
Outside the body shop was an E type that they had just finished so I snapped it ....

Quality work

Looks like a silver bullet, I like the Italian flag badge on the back, nice touch.

I am looking for the Italian strip for the windshield, there is one I have seen on the B' from Holland owned by Lexo.
As I am a honest UK taxpayer, I got a fantastic surprise yesterday, a big fat Tax Rebate, totally gobsmacked, so I am looking at 17 inch wheels now. any advice as to offset etc. would be appreciated.
:D

Hiya! Ideally offset should be from 28-to max 40 but the higher you go above 32 you will need spacers to compensate. The standard wheels are 32 but still use a 5mm spacer at the rear so any wheel from 28 will fit. Now the new Fiat 500 has been reproduced there is some nice choices to be had with the original 4x98 stud but you can use a 4x100 withe the choice of wobbly bolts or the use of hub adapters depending on offset. (38 upwards)

One word of warning though! 17" wheels can look great on the B but will require a low profile tire and ideally lowering of the suspension but you will feel the road and any bumps/holes more than a standard set up. A happier compromise without going into to much expense would be a 16" rim with a 45series tire. If your clever with your choice and use a 5 open spoke design then the rims look bigger and you keep your ride sweet. :)

Hope this helps (y)
