Decided I need to get my little electrical gremlin sorted before a European trip coming up...
The issue is the Battery Light being on & Power Steering Failure on first start up! However, I can turn the car off and start again and it'll be fine. You can also turn the ignition on (not start), turn off and then start the car without any issues!
I've done the proxi alignment to no avail and no codes have been recorded. I think I have the service bulletin which identifies the issue but I'll need dealer WiTech software to update software on BCM.....
My question is where can I find my BCM Hardware Version & Software Number on MES as I can't for the life of me find the BCM reference numbers?
Went to the dealer... but the master technician is off sick but will speak to him when he's back.... they have to run a diagnostic it's £182 + VAT inc first hour and I want to avoid that!
