General Battery Terminal

Has anybody changed the + positive battery terminal want to change mine
can anybody tell me where the cable goes to that part off terminal that cant be taken off goes to, is their anyway of changing the terminal with out going to fiat for the complete terminal with wire £46. I would like to buy a universal battery terminal for about £2

I haven't got a Multi - I am a Doblo God, trying to help a mere mortal - but logic dictates that it you can get the lead thats stuck to the terminal a few inches past the battery post while it's attached to the old terminal, without putting it under too much pressure, then you should be OK cutting it off at the old terminal and fixing it to the new one.
before you do that though - what's the problem with the old one. Can't it be mended?
