Hi Everybody!
I posted a week or so ago because out of the blue, my Fiat 500 2018 Twin Air wouldn’t start. Had battery checked - good
. But test showed alternator only ‘generating’ 5 volts (sorry not techy, just recalling what was said). Needed new alternator - so that’s what got done. Been running fine. Then this morning - same thing. Wouldn’t start. Zero sign of life. Opened bonnet (I have zero mechanical knowledge) wiggled battery connections to check good - seemed to be. Switched ignition - fine! Engine running. Thought I’d take to Kwik Fit (Saturday morning and was nearby)just to be sure - they said the connection was good. Few hours later popped to Morrisons - when I came back, samd problem. Completely dead. Flipped lid, wiggled battery leads - ignition! Everything fine. So does this sound like there’s something wrong with the actual leads, rather than the connection bit?
