hi there other than the memory for the cars radio draining the battery if not used for 4 weeks i suspect the clock in the sei is a major cause of drainage ,does anyone know if theres a fuse thats specifically for the clock or any suggestions on how to disconnect it . fed up with the car having a flat battery if the cars not moved in a few weeks ...the battery is a fairly new bosch one so i know the battery itself is good as is the alternator .

thanks all

the battery is fairly new and is a bosch silver one so a decent battery, no power drain from alarm only other possible drain is the stereo but it always has its face removed so isnt technically on standby however as with all car stereos it will have slight memory draw and the ticking clock plus the car doesnt get regular runs in winter at all and the fact its a tiny battery which doesnt hold a lot of charge anyway am assuming the drain and cold weather doesnt help at all, though next step is to get the alternator checked luckily have abrand new alternator ready to fit though not something torelish fitting as its a real pain to fit
