Hi all Barchetta knowledgeables.
I need all 4 suspension coils and the ePER tool tells me I can buy the fronts but not the rears. I don’t know how to source the fronts from the ePER info given, apart from using the part numbers provided to search for them.
Also, if ePER says that the rears are not available, does this mean I’ve completely no chance of obtaining new ones, or are there other avenues I could try?
Thanks in advance to anyone who can help.
Russ.

Just changed all four coil springs and shockers (plus bushes) on my 96 model. Ordered them using the VIN check on Autodoc, fitted perfectly and have made a big difference in general ride and handling. also stopped an annoying low speed squeak!

How much work was involved in the front shocks and springs. I've been hesitant because of the top bearing. Any remarks or advice about that ? It''s not critical, but the rest of the suspension has been done, and every little bit gives a better ride. grtz ER

Can't remember 100%, it was a while ago. I think it all stays together when removing the strut from the car. I seem to remember that the ball bearings were between two metal circular plates. I separated them and cleaned them and the balls in petrol. Some grease applied to the race and the balls stuck in place. Reminded me of a bicycle steering bearing!

Thanks for the info ! O plan to do the struts at the end of the Summer. grtz ER
