Off to Kwik Fit I go to get bent over for a repair
On the plus side check how clean my arches are
Unlucky mate. Wouldn't recommend Kwik Fit though
Looking around on the net e-tyres will repair it for £15 + VAT & if you buy a tyre from them in the future and show your receipt they take the £15 + VAT off the price & you get free puncture repairs on your new tyre.
Gonna phone them tomorrow![]()
seriously buy the kit and do it yourself, takes all of 20 seconds! once you have bought the kit you can buy more strips for pennies. - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/TUBELESS-TYRE-TIRE-PUNCTURE-REPAIR-KIT-h322_W0QQitemZ230308271896QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item230308271896&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1345%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1318
I dont like the look of them Beany... the plugs a pro uses are mushroom shaped and glued in as well. Impossible for them to blow out, not like the simple "plugs" in that kit unless I am missing something?

I was a fitter for ATS a few years back and any object that goes through the tread part of the tyre should be vulcanised (or at least have an inner tube fitted), also, if it was anything faster than a 1.2 I wouldn't even bother with that. A rule of thumb was if the object went through the side wall then the tyre was regarded as scrap as no guarantee could be given.
