Valentines day 2005 - 1242 blows up its big ends in my old red cinq

Day before Valentines day 2007 - Head gasket confirmed as going in turbo cinq

I thinks Valentines day just not supposed to be a good day for me

wasnt a plus with the amount i spent on it etc

HG isnt gone majorly, idle and drive isnt affected... just my coolant going into the oil v slowly (mayo in cap and steam out the oil breather )

1242 tub isnt a option will have my flat in 2 weeks and need furniture for it

plus i'd lose high boost unless i got pistons etc = more money

if you don't and it goes again you will always be wondering "what if"
if some one has another head then you could prep it all up before you strip it down.
top of block cleaning is also very important, and takes a bit of time to get it nice n shinny
i dunno where this 45 minuets comes from, would take me that long just to get the tools out
