Has anyone used a B&M Short Shift kit on an Uno? Any good? What parts does it replace?

Also, is the Turbo gear linkage any different from standard cars? ie; will a Uno Turbo Short Shift kit fit a standard 1.3 Uno?

Tom

Hi mate! i have purchased the b+m rippershifter and will be fitting at weekend, it replaces the gearshift mech inside the car, looks a quality made piece of kit, along with the uprated gearlinks should be spot on! Ant!

Is it for Turbo linkage only? Any chance you'd take a few pictures?

It fits any uno, i'l take a pic for you out of the box its almost the same as original but the ball that swivels is lower down thus shortening gearleaver travel and has uprated bushes and is made of the finest materials, Ant!

Is it a direct replacement Ant, or does it need any modifications to fit in place of the original Uno lever?

Also, how much do they go for?

Lowering the swivelling point and shortening the travel is a great idea, especially considering how much play there is in the standard Uno gear change :bang: It's like stirring porridge! :p A short shift will at least make it feel like there's less play
