AX bung problem.

when de-wipering the car how do you keep the AX thing in place?? as it is a straight through hole??just started doin it and didnt; realise. lol

I might have done it the hard way, but I took the plastic bit off behind the boot handle to expose the hole. I then cut a bit of plastic to size and drilled a hole through it and slotted it on top of the metal bit inside which enabled me to put the AX bung on the outside with the screw that is attached to it through the plastic bit I made and bolted it on.

This will probably make no sense at all! lol

I used 2 washers on the inside of the boot, one larger and one smaller with the origional nut from the AX on the end to tighten up, not too tight though because obviously you could damage the glass.

Was always waterproof for me

ok sorry guys. right i have brought some washers which work good. but i have just got the new style fiat badge,which has a screw on the other side. do you think if i found a bolt that,that would work the same?? in place for the ax bung.

looks ok for now. but it will be changed. hopefuly i will gat the fiat sign molded around it. should look good.and will hide that ax bung. lol
