Technical Awful Grinding while sterling

Hi there, I recently bought a 2007 Fiat Grande Punto, but the only problem is the steering. If you steer the wheel more than a quater, it starts making a squeaking / grinding noise until the wheel is returned to position. Are there any common fixed for this?

Probably dont turn that much while you are stationary with your boot on the brake pedal.

Or replace the belt for the steering pump( assuming its not electric)

Hi there.
It doesn't have power steering, and it makes the noise at any speed. Really don't know what to do, afraid to drive it right now
