Styling  awesome grille

Lord Azrael,

The mk1 and mk2 grills are totally different. It is, apparently, possible to convert a mk1 front end to a mk2, and that way you could have the mk2 grill. From what I gather you would need to change the front wings, bonnet, indicators and headlights. Haven't done this myself so don't know for sure what's involved, though I have seen a mk2 Uno converted to a mk1 front. Not sure why it was done, but it seems possible to convert from one to the other with the right parts. Rather a lot of work just to have a mk2 grill!

You could probably make one out of fibreglass chris :) if you got a pic to work from, a bit of chicken wire to get the basic shape then fibreglass cloth + resin over the top, sand etc... Bish Bash Bosh, "Awsome grill" Lol (well i assume that method would work)

doesn't the florino (what's it called the uno van?) grille fit the mk1?
saw one drive past me today and the design of the grille looks similar to mk2 grille.

so if a mk1 driver wants a mk2 look grille... find one on a florino in a scrap yard.

... or am i totally wrong?
