Hi all i have a Uyllsee 2.0 JTD and was wondering if there was any way of disabling the aux heater by the way of taking the fuse out or unplugging it from the heater itself i just want to see if it has any effect on the fuel consumtion, My understanding is that it should only come on during cold weather but mine seems to be working on every trip and i get like a diesel smell after stopping the car as the heater winds down. I seem to be getting about 22 mpg around town and 35mpg on a motorway trip is this about right. Thanks in advance for any replies.
