Hi Guys!

I ordered an AUX Connection (3.5mm Jack) from amazon last week, and I finally recieved it today! Finally, no more loose CDs sliding around the place!
As soon as I saw it on my doormat, I instantly tore open the packaging, took the H.U out, plugged it in to the back, connected my iPhone on the other end, switched the stereo to AUX mode, AND...nothing.

Well, I say 'Nothing', there was a sign of music when I turned the volume up to 40 (Full-Blast), but it was very-very-VERY faint, but it is picking Something up.

Now, I have searched the guides and forums on here, and it does say that the three wires (Left, Right & Earth) could be in the wrong order.

How would I go about Re-Wiring the Blue-Connection? (IF this is the problem)
And which colour is which?

Go to Grande Punto Guides ( I can't post URLs just yet), there is a thread on generic aux on standard HU, on page 4 or 5 there is a "how to" with the lead you have bought, It will not work where it "fits", you have to cut some of the tabs off and rotate it 180 degrees to plug into the other side of the HU. hope this helps, there are pics to show you what to do

Legend! Cheers man!
Yeah, just got the Stanley Knife to two of the lips, flipped it over, works fine!
Perfect Quality! Dunno why, but I was expecting poor or average sound quality (Probably because of my old car stereo AUX) but its just like having a CD in!

CHUFFED! :D

Have a look on Ebay too, they are about £10 or less. On top of the head unit there's a diagram of the connections, the aux. lead goes on the R/H of the connector, looking from the FRONT. I had to cut the tabs off mine too, sound quality is very good.
