On ignition of my new Multipla there is an automated message in Italian, saying something like "accopare la periggio". Firstly can anyone tell me what the message is? I've tried going to translation sites to put in every phonetic spelling I can think of for the message and drawn a blank.

Secondly, and far more importantly - how can I get the damn thing to shut up? It's already getting on my nerves.

Have you looked in your Owners Handbook (the one that came in the orange wallet with your car?) In mine it gives all the various warnings in both English and Italian. I'm at work at the mo, otherwise I'd have a look for you.

Yes, it does have bluetooth, but I'm not sure if that's it. A bit of experimenting this morning suggests it may be to do with the seatbelt. Turning the ignition with the seatbelt fastened shuts her up, although that's a pain if you need to reverse out of a tight space. Mind you, I did havre my phone with me, so it may yet be bluetooth.
