£22 about 3 weeks ago so the price will have gone up a little bit more
I'd rather sleep in a cardboard box than a travel lodge....saying that I've only ever slept in a travel lodge last year...it was horrid

Just checked for people who want to book, the price is currently at £33.
looking at the trip adviser the reviews are good only 5 out of 55 reviews are poor/terrible.

To be fair with Travelodge, you get what you pay for. As long as there's a bed and it's not freezing cold I'm happy.
complaining wont always get anything better though, we stayed in one once that stank of **** complained and got move to another room that was full of stick on air fresheners, they soon wore off and that room also stank of ****, so we went home, it was that vile you couldn't sleep in it. There were only £9 a room back thenI got my room for £20. I'm not expecting much for the price! :')

we stayed in a freezing cold one once too they didn't even have extra covers or portable heaters, now mrs dave always packs a small heater when we go away any where.
Its mad what story's people have with the travel lodge, Personally I've never really had any trouble with them, I have stayed in about 4-5 different ones and they have been standard but never smelly or anything!

stayed in one that didnt even have a kettle or tv once too. mrs Dave now refuses to stay in them
OMG no TV? God forbid people should talk to each other or do something intelligent like read or play board games.
even if its cold , if there is a bed sheet and the matress is soft ish im happy its £22 for a bed for the night

I stayed there earlier this year - my room was clean and warm enough. One tip though; don't use your sat nav to get there. Use the directions on the Travelodge website. The sat nav might try to send you through the town centre, like mine did.

Ive stayed in a couple and while they haven't been all that great they have been good enough, one of them was the middles of Slough! Although it was after Reading festival so I was glad to get a bed!
tbh i usually go for best western hotels, but mainly because they all have free wifi throughout - however, there might always be a best western nearby, its not always a cheap one like travel lodges or premier inns and the like.
