General Auto central locking

General Auto central locking
it is a setting autoclose which you select in the car setup menu 
I have mine set not to auto lock. Out of interest, why would you want it to autolock? I can only assume it's to stop people opening doors while you're moving, but if they're stupid enough to do that then don't give them lifts anywhere!
As much as the image I've got in my head of this tickled me, on a serious note they stay locked once you stop again.

i love the auto lock especially when i travel to remote areas,to prevent robbery etc where there were cases of robbers jumping into the car when the cars were in stationary position at the traffic lights!
But i would prefer the inner handles to be locked too as there were instances when my passengers thought it was ok to alight when i was still trying to do a proper parking into the lot.

Actually, It's a good thing that the car unlocks by the handles. My mother in law has a 2003 passat and once she locked her husband inside by mistake while going to the super market. It was summer and the guy couldn't get out nomatter what (windows closed)!! He had almost fainted by the time she was back (5 minutes!). Stupid germans!
Actually, I shouldn't open by the inside handles if the car is deadlocked withj a quick double press on the remote.
Score highly for the ACTIVE spec, with manual opening windows at the back

No, they're deadlocks. Bravo has them also, and cannot be opened from inside once activated. There are warnings in the handbook saying they shouldn't be activated with people still inside the car.

No, they're deadlocks. Bravo has them also, and cannot be opened from inside once activated. There are warnings in the handbook saying they shouldn't be activated with people still inside the car.
some manufacturers, and Fiat was one until recently, don't use deadlocks as they are dangerous for people in the car when they are on.
They're only dangerous if you're stupid enough to activate them with someone in the car, which you shouldn't.
You should never be locking someone in the car when you're outside the car ever!
