Audio Question

Now i dont know much about audio but i love my tunes, at the moment i have a panasonic head unit, infinity sub and amp.

In previous cars i have always had 6x9s but i havent in this car and it suffers from a severe lack of tops, the sound is muffled.

What would you chaps reckon, more 6x9s or some good door speakers main problem is when people are in the back of my car they cant hear any words just the thud of the bass!

My car setup is currently using a Clarion Headunit with Infinity Component Speakers, Front and rear. Tweeters are fitted above the rear seat belts in the back and on the plastic opposite the door mirrors. Crossovers are hidden within the front doors and in the rear boot.

I have a JBL Competition Mono Amp running, 2 x 10" 1000W JBL Subs.

The sound is perfect. The Headunit powers the normal speakers. My sound is crystal clear and the Bass Thuds when you want it too.

Ok so what your saying is put some tweeters and coponent speakers in front and rear?what size are they and do you have a pic of them or a link?

The Infinity Speakers i have are these

I can take and post some pictures of the locations of my tweeters if you want.

However this is my setup and it sounds good. Alot of the quality of sound comes from the Headunit. So dont think because it works nice for me it'll work great for you.

I have a good head unit 50x4 Panasonic CQ3300N which is powerful just need the right setup.

Ok as promised, here are the where the tweeters are located in my car. The sound is prefect and clear with the tweeters set in this position.
