audio help again please!!!!

once again, after i removed my amp and sub box (attatched to each other) to clean out my boot, once i wired it all up again, the amp light is on, but this time the subs arent working at all. i ran a new remote wire for the amp, and it is running down the opposite side to the RCA wire, wher the old remote wire is, could it be anything to do with this? also when i was reconnecting the wires, i touched the pos with the earth and a little spark happened, but no the fuse on the wire and amp are fine??????
please help

if it helps, the green power light on my amp doesnt look to be as bright as it was before?wether it is me or not i dont no

Remote wire help

i also notice dhtat when i connect the remote wire to the amp, the light goes bright green before quickly fading and then going out????????

Have you actually got 12v at the power terminals of the amp?

yes, everything is connected properley

Just a thought. What have you got your earth wire connected to??

I had a similar problem with mine. The amp was working perfectly then one day didnt work. It was a bad earth.

Being connected and actually working properly are 2 different things.

my earth is connected to the metal clamp where the back rests of the seats click into. could it be something to do with the fact i have run a new remote wire down the opposite side of the car to the RCA lead?

Check you've got 12v at the amp.

i dont have a multi meter, is tehre any other way to check?

i have a splitter for the power lead so that i can have 2 amps without a second power wire, could this affect owt?i dont have the second amp yet btw
