General Audio auxiliary socket?

Hello you would of thought will all the kit and kaboodle on the stilo abarth there would be an auxillary socket. I realy want to use my ipod through my stereo how are people doing this.

Mine does in the boot upper-left, next to the light, mines a 52 plate

he was talking about audio.. you could get a kit to emulate a cd changer (think that's the cheapest route)

Ive got the dension ice-link, its not all that good but mine is the older version.

The newer ones (dension gateway etc) are better, and offer ipod control, thru port for a cd changer and an aux port. see www.dension.com.

With mine you create 5 playlists of max 99 tracks that map to the 5 cd changer slots.

Just changed the confusing title as many Stilos have an auxiliary power socket.

Just seen this method of creating an aux in on ebay.

Thats a proper bodge that.

Very easy to build but will require a CD changer and the CD to be playing to work correctly - basically just hiijacks the audio signals in the CD changer/cable.

Just checked out the Dension website and the device does not work with the Fiat factory fit Visteon headunits.

Really? Thats strange because I am using one and it works fine with both the CN+ and the cassette version. It has Blaupunk v2.2 firmware loaded.

Looking at the spec, connectors on the interface and the physical size, Im 100& sure it is. The one I have looks the same except has a different cover.

Dan is very much right that little gadget there is the same one as the gatwway only that like the cd changer it's a fiat variant. I have also just found out that the 500 takes the same cd changer from Platts in Longton
