hi, i wanna make some 12" speaker rings, the last time i made some i drilled a series of holes on the circle i had drew and joined the dots with a jigsaw, but can anyone think of a better way of cutting mdf wood into a perfect circle?

no but i could easilly borrow one from a friend or family,

lol, i can actually get hold of MDF speaker rings. They are overpriced tho, would have to sell them for about £27 a pair for 12"

re

i'd draw on the circle, then just couple of holes drilled then carefully with jigsaw,

maybe if was being picky, screw in middle and piece of string length of radius tied to jigsaw so you couldnt go to big?

but just be careful?

Re: re

I drill a pilot hole....and then (follow thie line for the circle) cut the corle out with a jig saw, this usually does the trick for me...just go slow and you shouldt veer from the lines

Re: re

Black and Decker did the Mouse jigsaw or something like that which had an arm to do circles, other way is 6" bit of string and carful hand!

If it'll cut bricks and blocks, MDF would be a piece of ****.
