Anyone got a rear wiper motor for sale??

Finally got round to dismantling it at the weekend and sure enough the motor has burnt out (Fiat dealer told the truth for once!) but at least it's now resting in the right position. Therefore, I am now in need of a wiper motor and being the complete cheapskate b'stard that I am I'm on the scrounge for a cheap one.

Cheers Jon. Have already mailed this fella and at £55 as a starting bid and between £10 - £20 P&P I think it's rather expensive as one supplied by Fiat is only ~£70 plus VAT.

Would be nice but none in my local scrappy's. Plenty of Jags and beamers (can't wait to move out of Hitchin) but no Bravo's. These southerners just don't crash the right clash of car!

Rear wiper motor

Well, I had my wiper motor burnt out just last week... went to my garage (not a FIAT dealer) end they said I should first look for the relay of the motor, since mostly THAT part only burns out (so not the whole motor). I had it checked there, and within 1/2 hour my motor was out, opened, relay replaced and back in my Bravo again... and it worked again. Didn't cost me nothing

Maybe some idea for you guys?? Just wanted to let you know, because the mechanic told me that it is almost always just the relay inside the motor that gives up. So next time I will first look at that (since when you can handle a soldering Iron you can change it yourself).

Thanks Dennis. Where abouts do you live and what garage was this mate. I've had several people take a look and say it's knackered but never taken it apart.

Anyone done this before and taken piccies?

Have complete tailgate from 96P Brava with Rear Wiper. If it is the same as Bravo then willing to remove.

Car has done 7500 miles only, so as new motor!
