Could any one also help out an settle a little conflict i have with my mate.Is it possible to power a ps2 and a flat screen monitor off this invertor or would it be more suitable to use the instead, or are these really worth while, as my m8 has jus bought the 150W to power his laptop in his car

Cheers all,

Easy way to find out is to see what the power consumption of a PS2 is, and what the power consumption of the monitor is...

Add them together and you will find out...:)

Be VERY careful, you must get a true sine wave inverter or it will interfere with your radio and every bit of sound equipment in the car.

That one is probably not true sine wave.

I thought that when i first looked into it...

Mine isnt a true sine wave inverter and i only get noise when the PC is booting up, as soon as the Windows logon screen appears...the noise goes :)

You can sometimes stop this by earthing the PC case...

I got a normal one because the cheapest true sine wave inverter was £90+
