Well, its SOLD and for a criminal price too!!! (£1.750,03)

I've contacted seller requesting him to ask a buyer to keep a progress of this car alive here on the forum. Too much hard work went into this gem for it to just disappear in my opinion

Someone has lost a serious amount of cash.. shows how much it costs to prep a race car from scratch, and the seller sold at the worst stage possible. Lots of investment and not a lot to show. Plus you need to find a nice engine and fit..

Hope the project survives.

why look for engine when it comes with 1.4 stock engine ? its a complete car (just mostly in boxes :D)

How is that possible? Auction has finished. I hope it's not the seller refusing to sell that low, should be put reserve in the first place. Imagine if that was the case and u were the buyer... How gutted are u going to be when u though u ve just snatched a bargain but seller pulled out after auction has finished....

The guy has 461 feedback and 100% positivity so I'd be inclined to give him the benefit of the doubt. Also, the 'buyer' could give him negative feedback if he'd pulled out.

If you read the listing, it seems that it was the buyer who pulled out & the seller has posted the price that was agreed (£1750).

So long as the reserve is no higher than that, I can't see anything wrong in relisting it with a reserve - it's reasonable that the seller would now want to avoid giving it away for £100.

There's nothing here to suggest the seller is anything other than completely genuine. It appears he's been messed about by some scumbag timewasting ebay buyer.
