Slight problem i have those u-shaped keys and the left hand side goes in and disengages that side but the right didn't go fully in so i got bbq sticks and the top righ went fully in but not the bottom right ive push pulled switched them over and cant seem to get it out, has anyone else had thsi problem or know how to fix it?

PLEASE HELP!!!:bang:
The exact same thing happened in my Active sport. The bottom right hole, when you put the keys in it didn't release the clip.

All I did was push harder and pull and pull, it came eventually. I dunno how these theives pull them out so easily, took me and my bro 15 mins to get mine out. And 10 mins to get the new one in :D

Thanks so much mate, I'm going to have another go at that later I was scared to pull just in case something snapped off :/ put I'll try again later, thanks again

I will lower it when i can afford to, i have the new alloys which i will put on when i pass my test haha and finally im still not sure about tinting because with white alloys i think the contrast of light and dark wont look quite right :) thanks for the ideas

more opinions welcome :D

awesome mate!! Make sure you declare your mods! I phoned up my insurance company and they don't allow any mods. and I don't want to leave them because I'm only paying £500 on my own policy! so I'm going to wait a while before modding the car. But I've heard that Sporting alloys don't make your premiums go up because they are an optional extra with the car! I'm not sure how true this is though so I'm going to look into it! :slayer:

They will make it go up still, how much is insurance company dependent tbh.

As i have read with other people forget telling the insurance company just dont have a need to see the insurance company!!!

Im only just 17 less than a month ago but just go for it haha :slayer:

I have just been to halfords and got everything for spraying the mirrors i took them off (easier said than done) and started the whole process and after two coats it started to rain soo now i'm having to wait but they will hopefully get done mid week and ill add the new pics then :):)

Right my mirrors are done ill fit them back on tonight and ill add pics :)
Also my HU should be coming today (fingers crossed) but ive still had no luck getting my old one out im guna get my brother to help me and this weekend i should be able to fit that along with my 6x9 if i get enough time

Ill add pics tonight let me know what you think :D

Bit late now :(

What are components and why?
Components are basically front speakers but the tweeter and main speaker (also called a woofer) are separate. And a crossover is used to send the right signal to each individual speaker to give the best sound quality.

6x9's are a controversial choice a lot of the time as there is a 6x9 vs Sub war going on and to be fair a sub is better value for money, you get more bass per pound :D

so basicly you fit your own tweeters and front speakers and drop a sub in the boot and you get a better audio sound in the front so you can appreciate the sound ratehr than just have two speakers in the shelf which i think look pretty good, thats fair enough it makes sense but i still like the idea of 6x9

i fitted my mirrors and eventually got my HU out last night with the help of my Bro, mine is taking the **** to get here tho!!!
i hope it comes today :worship:
