where did u get ur ecu sorted out???

i think i need a new one also, is it best to buy a whole new system (ecu, keys etc...) off of ebay and the get some one to fit it????

or should i sell the thing bit bybit lol

iv got a n reg mk1 1.6 punto sporting

i got sold it with the one blue key which is the one im still using
when i try to start my car it ticks and ticks over but wont start
my fuel injector lightis coming on (efi light i think?) along with the key code light is also coming on when trying to start it
a jump start is useless

just been up to fait and they want to charge me £350 for new ecu and keys!
are there cheaper ways, i no i can get a new ecu on ebay for bout £150 and thts includin locks and keys etc.

or should i sent it to www.the-ecu-doctor.co.uk or somewhere like tht????

wats ur opinion???? and shud tht solve the problem and get ma car runnin????

if i was to get 1 off of ebay then would i need to get one for a 1.6 punto sporting ( which i have) or can i get any punto one and stick it in and would work???? this is ecu and lock set im talkin about

help my car has suddenly died

my 1995 reg punto 55s today was fine till i got home then when tried to start it up it wasnt doing anything, the battery doesnt even try to turn the car over, i even charged the battery, i dont no what to do, my brother might have pressed the fuel cut of switch at the passenger side could this have anythin to do with this please help

Driving my fiat punto 1.6 sporting P reg the other day, stalled it, and all of a sudden the code light stays on and the car wont start, just ticks over. called AA out and said this is a common problem and if i dont want to spened big bucks then scrap it. is this true? the fuel light does not come on just the code stays on. im hearing it my be a ecu fault, i found a company who provides new ECU but have no idea where to find this. any idea guys?? im stuck without a car and its sitting on my drive with a full tank of petrol. ive got a red key and one blue. i hvae noticed a lot of water in the car sometimes, in the passengers side on the floor, like a puddle.
