General ANY CINQ OWNERS WITH AN AIRBAG?

Pea, yours deffo has an airbag. They were an option on the earlier models but then standard equipment on the later models before the Seicento was introduced.

It probably depends on registration date and how long the car was loitering before being delivered to a dealer. I've got an R reg with no rugby ball wheel.

Aw well it was good while it lasted, that now means that any Cinq with an airbag must be super rare!

They probably ran out of standard columns and stalks, and started fitting Sei ones instead at the end of the production run. They didn't really do much development on the cinq from 93 to 97, so I'd think it odd that they would choose to do such a change right at the end of production. Got a feeling airbags were an option on the last of the line cinqs.

is there any easy way off checking that you have got an airbag fitted.

i supposdly have one fitted but i know my sei was in a previous crash and the middle bit is very loose on the steering wheel

i dont fancy pulling the middle out and have it pop out[V]

I pulled my cover off and have found a new storage area for.......nothing I can think of! The space is huge, could get a 126 in there

Gaz, if yours has an airbag there should be an airbag warning light come on for a few seconds when you start up.

mine does have an air bag light, but im wondering about the airbag inside cause the middle is rather loose

gaz: if u disconnect the negative battery lead an take the cover off the steering wheel then the airbag shouldnt go off....
